Day 6-Nature Journaling

An absolutely perfect night for nature journaling. My mother's backyard was again my subject. Sat back there and was able to do a pretty quick sketch with ink wash in my journal.

I bought a new Inktense Palette of colors when I was in New York City last month. I haven't had the heart to start using it since I love having brand new art supplies. I know it's kind of weird but I decided to break them out to use since they have so many different greens included in this palette.

This sketch did not take me very long. Was happy how it turned out. Have plans for more nature sketching.
