New Idea for a Painting

I have been on a real creative bent lately. I have a lot of ideas in my head that I want to get into motion. I have a few goals that I want to accomplish as well. I went on my first solo backpacking trip a few weeks ago and came away with some spectacular images.

I wanted to put into this piece the beauty of what I saw with some emotions that I have been feeling lately. This is going to be a mixed media piece created from pages of books and sheet music that I have saved.

I am purposely choosing what pages to use and the size of the text to help create a sense of depth. Here is a closeup of part of it.

I have an idea to incorporate some of my own handwriting from my journal near the foreground. I have an idea of what I want to do. Just need to make it all work out.
