This is my "ode to Maryland" piece.  I lived in Maryland for a time in the 90s and I still love visiting here.
 
This mixed media piece has many elements added on it.  Oriole has been drawn with Prismacolor pencils on black mixed media paper. Vintage sheet music and lace has been added.  Black eyed susans were painted on music sheets and and modeling paste was added.
