"Seymour", acrylic on panel, 8"x10"

I finally finished this commission piece so I am excited to share it.

Seymour is a cute dog, isn't he?

Here is the photo that I used as a reference for the piece:

I like that the owner agreed to have me paint him on a square panel. I think the end result looks more intimate. I actually. had a hard time painting the grass! It has been a long time since I painted grass and I didn't want it to look like an overly green area that would take focus off of Seymour.

This is my 2nd Boston terrier that I have painted and they really are a fun dog to paint.
